Sprayed Concrete Association (SCA) represents leading contracting and manufacturing companies engaged in sprayed concrete.
Sprayed Concrete exhibits certain properties that in some respects makes it superior to poured concrete. This enables it to be used in a wide variety of constructions particularly those which are free formed eg swimming pools, landscaping, zoo structures, theme parks.
It is also used in new construction, underground construction, water retaining structures, protective coatings and strengthening and repair. More information may be found in the publication "An Introduction to Sprayed Concrete" which is freely available from the Association.
Membership of the Sprayed Concrete Association includes sprayed concrete applicators, manufacturers of specialist materials and machinery for sprayed concrete, consultants and other specialist companies both in UK and overseas.
